Ryan Surprised at LASERTRON for 30th
The best thing that can happen at a surprise party is that the guest of honor is delightfully surprised. According to wife and party planner Ti, the most notable event at Ryan's 30th birthday party was "The surprise! Ryan was really surprised!!"
Ti planned the surprise party for Ryan and 17 guests with Laser Tag, Cyber Sport, an "All You Can Eat" buffet, tokens and drink tickets for the LaserTron bar. After really surprising the 'birthday boy', players headed to a game of Laser Tag.
The players split into Blue and Red teams. The match was split right down the middle, with Red winning two games and Blue winning two games.
CUMMINS was the star of the Red team, both for his personal best score of 22,590 in the 2nd game but also for being the "funniest character." He would sneak up and whisper funny things to opposing players. VIPERFORMAT scored 15,995 for the red team in the third game and CARLA scored 6,860 also in the third game.
The Blue Team had several solid performances. TILDAY RAIN poured on the points in game 2 with 41.990. T-REX had a 20,705 point first game and SPICOLI grabbed 14,995 points in the third game.
After the Laser Tag games, the entire group headed to the decorated private party room for food, drink and Cyber Sport.
Cyber Sport was the group's favorite event. The group played mixed games throughout the remainder of the evening while enjoying the buffet spread, birthday cake and beverages from the bar.
According to Ti, "We liked them both, but Cyber Sport was the favorite. I think because we were all big adults in these little carts trying to get a little ball into the target. Hilarious and challenging!
"T-REX and CARLA were really good shots at Cyber Sport. I got close (SHE-RA) a couple of times, but not close enough."
When asked how the experience compared with other events/parties, Ti said,"Other pale in comparison! This was 'da' BOMB! By 1,000 miles. The staff was amazing from start to finish including the first phone call to Jason. Steve and Ally ROCK! We would definitely come again."
Ryan, Ti and all of their guests looked like they had a great time- the perfect surprise party.
